Questioning to Encourage Creativity and Divergent Thinking - An Infographic
Looking at Bloom's taxonomy through an active lens, I created this infographic as I developed an AI / Machine Learning course for a summer program for gifted students. It is useful in that it take the concept of higher order thinking and applies it to the visible, actionable tasks we can present to our students for increased engagement.
One of my favorites is to "restate the problem in my own words" as well as "how can you transform" for different applications of the taxonomy.
The applied lesson using Zumi can be found at the bottom of the infographic.
Example of a Unit Content Map for Gifted & Talented Programming which takes into account Universal Concepts, Big Ideas, artifacts, and other elements key to engagement with gifted learners.
